FAQ

Common questions

Which loan is right for my business?

It depends on what the money is for. Lines of credit and working capital loans suit short-term or seasonal needs; term loans and SBA 7(a) loans suit growth and refinancing; equipment, SBA 504 and commercial real estate loans suit long-lived assets. Your loan officer will recommend options after reviewing your application.

Does applying affect my credit score?

Starting an application and uploading documents does not pull your credit. We will ask for your written authorization before any credit check.

How long does it take?

The online application takes about 15 minutes if your documents are ready. Timelines after that depend on the loan type: lines of credit and working capital loans move fastest, while SBA and real estate loans take longer because of appraisals and program requirements.

How is my information protected?

Your account is protected with two-step verification. Uploaded files are encrypted in transit and at rest, scanned for malware, and every access by our staff is logged.

What if I'm missing a document?

Upload what you have and submit. Your loan officer will let you know if anything else is needed.
